yeah JJ should really thank nascar for handing him those 5 championships the way they do the chase points....they made up the chase to give other drivers the chance to win a championship and take the run away from the driver who really earns the cup by doing the best all year long with doing the most consistantly....now there awarding the drivers who wins consistantly during the the 1st 26 race's of the year and starting them up front in the chase....don't even get me started on kyle bush, he wouldn't have 25% of his records or wins if he didn't wreak people out of his way or got penilized for wreaking people like he does to win  ....thank you nascar for totaly turning me off of nascar from this point on  ....jimmy johnson didn't win 5 in a row, but had 5 in a row handed to him by nascar plain and simple and everyone knows it ........bob.... |

Congrats to JJ, he did what he needed to do to win the chase. That said, the "Chase" is a fail. The numbers prove it. Viewership in in the toilet. Bring back the real Championship format. |

At least it wasn't Kyle Busch and I would like to see that computer that said Harvick was speeding. They say its electronic so it is what it is but who sees it and how hard would it be to fudge? I am a #3 fan so I was pulling for Harvick. I'm not a JJ fan but he is on a roll. Now they need to transer all of his stuff and team to Jr. and see if he can win. |

I do believe the Chase format has some flaws but he fell as far back as 9th and still won the closest championship to date. It was by far NOT handed to him. This season was very competitive and entertaining with NASCAR letting them "have at it" as they put it. I was happy when JJ won his first, 5 in a row is just amazing. I would be happy if anyone else EXCEPT Kyle Busch wins all the rest. At least most of us cant stand him (even if he can drive the the wheels off a racecar, lol). The chase sucks period. NASCAR needs to find a way to get all teams on the same competitive level. Budget caps? R+D spending caps? I don't know the real answer but I'm just about done with the Cup Series. I said after #48 won the 3rd, and then 4th championships. This time I may have to stick to my guns

NASCAR sucks..........Rock Crawling is better. NASCAR sucks, it really really sucks, NASCAR sucks, it really really sucks! That said, at least a Chevy sticker'd car won and not a Toyota sticker'd one. |
