| I was just offering an alternative. Whatever doesnt sell at our yard sales (we have one a year) we give to a local thrift store. And we know this particular store only uses the money they make to pay the help and utilities, the rest they support the local shelter.

I give our unwanted clothing to the local animal shelter. Yes it's strange, but they find all kinds of uses for them there...

Those churches take your clothes and sell them so they can help local people pay medical bills, utility bills and to buy food. I have seen neighbors helped and our church loaned us money so we could get my daughters mouth fixed. I really don't understand the objection. Randy

I think his objection is to life in general. Some people can't even do a good thing without finding something to bitch about. Nothing to complain about? No problem... make something up using some words that do even make sense. Happy Thanksgiving. p!nK

Check you local veterans office or VFW chapter. That is where I bring all of my stuff. There are many past and recent vets in need in this country which is a very sad thing.
