I visit this site on 3 different computers, one running Win98 another running Win XP and one running Win Vista. All using Firefox and I've never had a pop up on any of those machines visiting this site.

I'm 100% clean with RCC running both firefox and chrome on both Win7 and WinXP
Using just the stock anti-virus I got with each computer

I'm pretty sure you've got Anti-Virus/Security malware. Does the window that comes up have a generic "Anti-Virus" title with a shield next to it?

To get rid of it, you need to download Malwarebytes:

Restart your PC in Safe Mode (mash the F8 button while the computer boots), choose Safe Mode with Networking.

Install Malwarebytes and let it update itself. Then let it run a full scan and do it's thing.

That "should" fix the problem.

Delete your old system restore points as well. This sucker likes to hang out there, the resurface it's ugly head a day or three later.

If it keeps coming back after malwarebytes get combofix from http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/comb...o-use-combofix

again in safemode with networking and no current restore points.

This will typically fix all the issues. Make sure to do the updates to malwarebytes and do the full system scan. This can take up to two hours but will usually clean it out.

You may need to run it a second time to fully eradicate the issue.

I have had this pop up several times on client computers and malwarebytes always kicks it out.

I do recommend running a registry cleaner such as ccleaner which you can get at download.com

Do it after the scans. You may also need to change your connection settings in internet explorer if you use it because most of these spyware types change it to use a proxy.

that is an advertisement, when he says he gets pop ups he is talking about a malware, that tells him he has viruses and to send it money to get rid of those, and when you do they steal your credit card info and send you more malware.
what you are receiving is an annoyance
what he got i have seen nearly take computers out.

I know its not a virus, Its just unlike RCC to have popups.... I know what virus hes talking about, Ive gotten the same virus and it took me awhile to get rid of it.
