Wally World may indeed be different. Regardless, that doesnt excuse their actions. The fact that they tried to file charges against WM when the police showed up is pretty clear that they were going to try and pull the race card for something like racial profiling Im sure.

Yeah....I know that is the difference. If it is not a "private" facility, they are supposed to ask permission.....and you can respectfully decline and walk out. However, searching because of suspicion of theft is different....you get no choice in that matter.

I guess it might actually be a profiling thing at WM, because when I was in NC last year (I never go to WM, but there was no place else to go there), I set up camp and hit WM for supplies. As I was leaving I noticed them checking the receipts of all the "migrant worker" types leaving the store, and they didn't say a thing to me with my cart full of stuff.
