I have a habit of digging up my old, dead toys and chopping them up .... adding some parts from others .... some new parts .... some this and that .... and resurrecting them into different, unique and new "creatures". Like the good Dr.

First rc was a second hand black foot that looked like it sat out in the snow and rain for ten years. i thought to myself looks like i'm running a rusted rc that came from the bottom of a lake.

Years ago I lived on Cape Cod and fished the Cape Cod Canal nightly. Generally without a light, in dark clothing, and with the drag clicker removed from my reels. It was all about stealth, and hiding from people following me to find fish.

One day someone made an correlation between me scurrying up and down the rocks like the rats that infested the canal, which is referred to as the Ditch. Once the name Ditchrat was put in play, it just stuck and that's what people called me.

I have people that I have fished with for 20 years, who simple know me as Ditchrat. People actually call my phone and address me as Ditch.

Back in my drinking days, there was myself and another guy named Jamie in our group of drinking buddies. A friend of ours would differentiate us by calling one of us "Skinny Jamie" and one "Fat Jamie".

When I was in my 20s, I was about 170-ish pounds @ 5'11". Not so much in my mid-40s...

Where did you live on the Cape, Ditchrat, if you don't mind me asking? I spent the first 25 years of my life there.

As a young boy I've had a fascination with ants and their ability to over come most all obstacles. A good lesson in life ---never give up.

Cool. I grew up right over the town line in Bourne. I used to do a lot of "watering" at Bobby Byrnes Pub and Horizon's back in the day.

Yeah... Main Street in Hyannis was fun. The Asa Bearse House was the place to go way back when. Then, "The Egg and I" for breakfast.

I do miss the Cape.

In a moment of uncreative bliss I thought of my recently sold CJ7 That I shoved a pre-corporate, and fairly built 350 Pontiac into. A friend of mine dubbed it the Jeepiac and I thought it was fitting. This was a purpose built Jeep. Built only to break the hearts of the guy's with the fart pipe buggies. I had a lot of fun messing with the kids, but it was a little to short,to light and over powered. After it set untouched for close to a year, I decided to send it down the road. Happy to say it went to a friends dad and it's actually on the road every day now, and I only took a $6500 loss on it

Always liked car audio, got into it, grew up , founded a company using the name of a friend's company in Miami, got his ok first, back in 93' , closed it in 2012 because of business dying in that segment, name was cartronics...hn is short for Honduras
