Ze Germans, they have more time on zer hands zan efen you guys do. Actually, I think those guys have some killer creativity and incredible patience. To screw up working on HO scale Roco stuff like that would mean disaster to their models. Gesundheit! I also really dig their Robbe construction equipment on one of the links. |

It's called TTTT, or Table Top Truck Trials. Google it for more info. There's a discussion form on Tinyrc.com |

Another link to the tiny guys... http://www.mikro-truck-trial.de/ 1/16 Crawling, Deutsche style... http://www.truckmodellsport.de/ Oh, and this guy also does a Unimog crawler. Also nice fabrication... http://s.putti.bei.t-online.de/u300.htm I'd like to see a couple of posts on this site from the 1/16 truck trials guys. You can check out some of their equipment on www.robbe.com (under trucks) Sorry about the links, I'm new to this forum, and haven't figured out how to make them active, you'll have to cut and paste them. |

It is truly incredible what can be done with skills time and micro electronics these days. I can't imagine being able to build something that small.

I have been drooling on the TTTT stuff for years. If we could only get the sub-mini parts easily in North America, but it doesn't appear to be that easy. There are virtually NO sites about this in English, which presents a problem.

Here are a list of sites and info to get you started http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...87&postcount=1 the truck on there is mine... just finished it and you can use www.altavista.com/translate to translate the German pages and the guy at www.tttt-parts.org speaks pretty fluent English His name's Peter... tell him Jimmy sent you... that's where I get my parts from...anything I don't make... like axles and trannys.... but I make my own esc's but he carries 4WD kits, brass wheels with bearings, different gearboxes, chassies and there is an english section on his site (but with a little less stuff...still in the process of translating) another discussion The start of my TTTT Obsession Last edited by Akura2; 10-17-2005 at 06:39 AM. | |

i'm building a 1/32 scale Morris Minor in my spare time (what little i have these days) and i thought that made my eyes hurt. it's bad enough trying to get that little punk to steer. what a 1/10 scale rig calls slop, this car calls travel. ican't imagine doing it in 1/87. i think i'd shoot myself. |

not to knock ya, but that looks closer to 1/24. i've built enough 1/24 mini coopers to know. that speedo is huge, btw. i can't get anything bigger than a 5A airplane speedo in mine, and watch batteries for power, or maybe i'll cut open a 9v battery and rob some of the cells from it. i'm still considering that bullet. think i should go with a 6-point dum-dum or is a 4-point good enough on a 9mm? |

Hrrm.. The Tamiya 4WD cars are 1/32, right? That's where the wheels/tires came from. lemme see if I still have the box. |
