My Hifi Man headphones were in the 400$ range and just scratching the surface of really decent headphones.
I do have some Monster earbuds and they are not bad, but probably in the 60$ range.
Check the thread, I'm sure there is something applicable..not a lot of people are crazy like me or EeePee about our audio gear

I came to know about electrostatic headphones because of EeePee.
I am not putting that much money into headphones at the moment, but someday would love to buy and listen to an electrostatic headphone.

There are many Skullcandy ear phones listed on ebay and since it's a US company, I want to buy them assuming it's a quality product. I ran into a doubt due to some reviews stating the right ear phone stops working in a few days or months so thought I would ask here.

These are what my main speakers are..in British racing green though.
They have a very simular sound to a real good electrostat but with more dynamics and very solid bass due to the sub unit.
