I used to have a trail rig and go quite often, then it got WAAAYY too expensive. Got a 2010 Wrangler Sport all stock and a Wraith. Parts for the Wraith aren't quite as expensive as they are for the Jeep. Keeps me satisfied for now. Roger |

not a rock crawler, but she holds her own. Keeps up with most rigs on 33's depending on the terrain. 2006 Jeep liberty CRD limited. got that 2.8 turbo diesel, tuned to 200hp and 360 ft lbs of torque. Next rig will be a JK rubicon as soon as i can afford it. IFS sucks |

I have a Jeep XJ that I've built up a bit and wheel every now and then, no pics right now though sorry. I don't need to tell you guys that 4x4ing is an expensive and equally addictive hobby and if your not breaking stuff every now and again you're not wheeling hard enough! A friend of mine bought and built up an SCX10 and after drinking a few beers and crawling a pile of rocks I was hooked.

Started with my 85 Ford Ranger, then a 86 Chevy half Ton on 35's. Now I have my 02 jeep on 35's and dana 44's... While living in Missouri, I would go to an off-road park called Flat Nasty. Wheel the Jeep and then wheel the scaler, comp rig, whatever I took with me. The owner of the park saw me playing on some of the rocks and what the trucks could do. Now he has a comp series of his own and built a VERY nice outdoor course. The little things are just as infectious as the 1:1s... |

Yea, i've been into 1:1 since i was born (so about 17.5 years)...here's my jeep last weekend It sits on 37's with a D44 (chromo shafts) up front and a 14 bolt in the rear. And back when it sat on 35's and a dana 30 (last year (well, late 2010) when we got it)... seriously this is like afew days after we got it. We traded a ford D60 for it |

| Re: Anyone else get into RC crawlers after owning 1:1? Me too. Ive always had lifted mall crawlers since high school but the 1/10 crawling got me into 1:1 crawling. My jeep has EFI 351w, NP435 4 speed, BW4407 and tons out of a 2005 superduty on beadlocked 39" BFG's. So basically a ford truck wrapped in YJ skinz. I built it in a 2 car garage in about 2 years.. Fun stuff |

A couple of mine..... The Ranger has a 347 V-8. Both are Locked F/R on 35's. I usually catch a lot of crap about my Explorer (the grocery getter). |

That's where I started- had a couple Jeeps and an old pickup. Not much rock crawling to do around here, but there are some trails. Unfortunately most everything involves mud at some point or another, and I've only got pictures of the aftermath and a couple stucks. My only remaining toy is in pieces right now, redoing/building everything so that it's not absolute junk. My last Jeep (89): My at the time POS, currently torn down 78 GMC: BTW: All terrains suck. |
