I already have the day off... unfortunatly, I promised to take my daughter to the aquarium. This will be the first one I have missed in 15+ years.

The rules changes have brought real racing back. That 2 car drafting crap was boring.

Or run in inclement weather like all other forms of racing that aren't full of ancient technology and claiming to be a stock class when not even based on stock cars.

That's awesome Creeper! After watching Grand am, F1, DTM, Aussie super cars, and pretty much whatever other races I can find, it kind of makes NASCAR more annoying. The thing with NASCAR that bugs me the most are all the damn cautions they throw for stupid reasons. I never really understood why NASCAR didn't race in the rain. Minus a torrential downpour, they should continue. I love watching NASCAR, so I'm not just a hater, it just bugs me.

Man, I love a good F-1 race in the rain but do you guys not understand centrifugal force? There is no way to race in an oval in the rain at any kind of speed even with rain tires. If NASCAR isn't your style don't hate on it. Watch whatever you like. I happen to like all types of racing. NASCAR is just my favorite.

I just looked at the radar. It looks like a window is about to open that they could have started the race around 2. I wonder how much of the schedule change was motivated by getting the race in prime time? Its cool with me I'll be home and can watch tonight and personally think this race deserves to be prime time.

You realize...through the wonders that is math and physics...WATER seeks lowest level. Meaning on these Nascar ovals there is very little water near the top or hell any of the corners even in heavy rains for more than mere seconds.

So the drivers slow down...they do in all other forms. God forbid they do 170 instead of 200.

BTW Nascar fans, welcome to Fuel injection, something not featured in any stock form car that Nascar has portrayed in over 2 decades. And a racing tool used since the 1930's.

You've gotta be kidding me. There were almost 40 lead changes in the Nationwide race Saturday because of the "2 car drafting crap".

Now that Sprint cars have once again lost their spoilers, super speedway racing will be like watching a turd flush...one big load going round and round.

You have to admit, NASCAR is a bunch of babies when it comes to rain. A few drops hit the track and they stop the race. Seriously... If F1 will race in rain, there's no reason why NASCAR can't.
