Default bill bill bill bill nye the science guy

who all miss watching his shows? he was the very reason for me wanting to learn about science, geology, biology, chemistry, etc.....
its also sad to see that nowadays kids aren't as interested, no urge or drive to understand or fascination for the amazing things this world has to offer or how it was made or made up of.
Bill Nye the Science Guy - Volcanoes - YouTube

It's not just a 'thing' with this generation. Back when I was in school, they'd wheel in the A/V cart and we'd watch a show called 3-2-1-Contact! Had they not had us as a captive audience, I doubt their viewership would have cracked the double digits.

I never saw any of Bill Nye's shows, but my wife speaks of him often. Usually it's "you need to get a haircut, you got the whole Bill Nye thing going on up there."

I remember a episode of Bill Nye where he took a small chunk of soap and put it on the back of a paper boat, placed it in a dish of water and the boat moved around. Not sure why, but thats stuck in my head since.

When I was younger, I thought he was just an actor. I never knew he was actually a scientist :P

Not sure about Beakman's World though. Anyone remember that show?

Lol I remember that One, that episode led me to experiment with adding a bottle rocket to the back of a paper boat to see if I could make a speed boat! Lol every episode made me want to challenge the experiments and make them better or bigger, which sometimes led to a fire or explosion

I used to have to watch that in science every once in a while. It was pretty boring, but I knew 90% of the stuff already. My attention span sucks too.
