I'll have to try that. I guess my maxx would have been $129+$30=$160 since I wanted both the tranny and tires/wheels... oh yeah, and impatient!

I think I can use at least part of the sliders and possibly something else. I just love buying crap so I can tear it apart!

it never fails that when I'm bidding on something on eBay, whatever my highest bid is, it usually ends for like a dollar more

I've been a mean asshole with that before too, stuff that I don't feel like I should bid on because the price is more than what I'm willing to pay, I'll sit there and hit the minimum bid for a few shots just to see if I can get the high bid, or at least run it up another 10-15$ for the seller in the process

I have a stampede as my speed racer jumping truck and can always use spare parts. Let me know what you have left over and we can maybe work something out. $120 for that whole setup is a good price, unless you only want a tranny.

Thanks Badger, That was my first paint job, and it was all rattle can. I've put it through hell and the paint job has held up really well.

Guys check out the Nitro Pede tranny. A 3.75:1 reduction WITH manual axle brakes (if desired) AND larger pitch gearing and a BOMB-PROOF diff.

All you'd have to do is bolt on a motor plate, and you're done.
The Nitro rustler tranny would work also...but its a bit larger (with the braces) and has a higher ratio...somewhere around 2.85:1 i believe.



FYI the E-pede is a 2.75:1 reduction internally.
might be cheaper and easier to look for a N-pede tranny.
I've thought about going the way of the shaft for some time now...and that is DEFINATELY the way i'll be going.

With the 2.5 and all the sirio parts in my N-Pede, i have YET to break the tranny (spurs....yes.....tranny/diff...no )
