And I really want to finish my Mountaineer and need a stampede tranny. So I bid the hell out of this one.

there's 1 differance in the stampede tranny and the rustler,the lower arms are one one of them and not the other.now, i don't remember which it is but some one here with one or the other can tell what's on there's.but that is the only differance.i needed the gear cases for my nitro hawk conversion and found one to have the lower arm holder and the other to not have them.i wanted them on the gear case so not to have more holes to drill. and that how i know that there is a differance.

You can't snip something if the other bidders are paying attention to the auction.

And I actually wanted the tires and rims off of the truck so I did not want a new one. I was well aware of the price on Tower. So no insult to injury.

At least the guy selling it is stoked.

I don't follow. If you hadn't bid at all until 10 seconds left, you probably would've saved about $30, because Bigsexy wouldn't have been able to say "Hmm, just a few bucks more" 3 times. Elfarach probably would've bid alot less if nothing else changed. You don't give the "other guy" a chance.
