man you're still going on about this? just get yourself a comp crawler and put a scaler body on it. since you obviously dont care if it looks scale. meanwhile i spend HUNDREDS of dollars buying NARROWER axles for my axial scalers so they look better. HOURS of custom mods later, i have a rig that actually looks good .... but you dont hear me complaining about the time and money it took. cuz like rik said, i like the feeling i get when i accomplish something. |

| Re: SCX10 Axles WTH? Apparently he's what I've come to call brick dumb. You can't reason with a brick. You can't get a brick to see a flaw especially if its a flaw pertaining to the brick. All you can do is get pissed off and throw the brick through a window in frustration. I'm no mason so I've learned to give up on bricks. They can figure it out for themselves or not... |

Here's your kit in the fs section. SCX10 frame AR60 axles just add a jeep body. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/sale/...r60-axles.html |

I am not that great of a builder and have back neck and shoulder problems and I figured out how to put wraith axles under my scx10. It isn't that hard even if you do it diferently than the ones that have already been posted in this thread. It took me about 3hrs and I can only mess with it for about 10 min till my arms and hands go to sleep then have to wait till they wake up to get back at it. I think your time was up a long time ago if it isn't done by now you should just give up and move on or pay somebody to build you exactly what you want.

After all this time I had to go look over the first post again to see exactly what this exercise in douchebaggery was all about. Seems I'm a fawking genius compared to the op and I didn't even know it. Stock scx skid untouched, dual triangulated rear 4 link and 3 link front with VP panhard mount on the axle. All the links are straight except the panhard and it was super easy to do. Gawdammed Jeannieass I tells ya! |

Dang, I turn 18 tomorrow but the absolute lack of maturity represented here is astonishing. I was a tool for a while, but good lord above this was a good read. Then the fact that you bumped it two months later....really bro? Is there nothing else that you have time to do. Take good care of your cats, they are the only pu$$y you'll ever get |

Can I ask, if moving the upper links in more towards the center of the chassis Did that help with drive shaft binding on the upper links, that's the problem I'm having with AR60 axles, I flipped the out put shafts on the transmission, so there on the same side as axle input shafts And the drive shaft binds on the upper links and does not spin freely I was looking at making my own or buying some bolt on upper link risers, but not sure if that would work cause, it moves the links up and forward or backward depending front or rear axle Your solution moves the links in so there straight across from axle truss and centered in front of the skid plate and still are at the stock height and have not moved forward or backward Maybe I will try it, if I can find some thing for spacers and some long enough screws, Last edited by kgb424; 09-24-2016 at 02:22 PM. |
