| What are you listening to in your shop?
What kinda stereo setup are you using? pc? boombox? full blown entertainment system? My current setup: JVC rx-554vbk receiver, pioneer CS-99a speakers, and I tonight I'm going to add a BIC pl-200 powered sub. |

I have an old '70's Panasonic home stereo. AM/FM, cassette deck, turntable all in one unit, complete with original speekers. |

Used to have a car head unit mp3/cd player built into a mdf box with a pair of 6 1/2 speakers below it, sounded awesome and now my buddy has it I ran it off a radio shack 1.5a wall wart. I need to build another but now I have a 20a power supply for my lipo charger I can run off of.

Kenwood Sovereign VR-5700 receiver. 5 Definitve speakers (2 floor towers, 2 rear shelf speakers, 1 center speaker), 10" Polk Audio subwoofer. Love this setup it sounds very good and the 10" sub really surprised me on how good it's output was for the price.

A JawBone Big JamBox from the cellular store. Makes a lot of quality sound for a little package(4in. by 4in. by 12in.). Rechargeable, bluetooth, 1/8 plug. Love it. Makes amazing Tim Cameron u tube video v8 sound |

I can hook the laptop up to a pretty decent set of PC speakers with a subwoofer, but to be honest I still use the radio below 90% of the time. The crappy sound is actually part of the ambiance. |

Late 80's-early 90's Kenwood receiver with matching CD deck..... a pair of KLH (mid 90's?) 'sattelite' speakers, looks like a 4" or 6" mid with a tweeter of some sort........ and a pair of "cheapies", no names, probably late 80's, horn tweeters and 8" woofers. IIRC I think I took out the woofers and put in my 8" MTX Terminators. At some time in the past, I tried hooking up my 15" Road Thunder (MTX) to the center channel, but couldn't get it to play right. Usually it's just kickin' out 'the Big Cheese, 107.9 fm', 95.5 WIFC, or "HOT 96.7 fm". If I want to drive the wife straight up the wall, I'll throw in some Young MC, J. J. Fad, or L' Trimm in the CD player. Other favorites to play are Disney's Haunted Mansion soundtrack, Christmastime in the 909, Christmas from Death Row, or a Twisted Christmas (provided those aren't in the car). Feelin' a little tuckered out from chasing the lawnmower. Maybe after I go get a fish-fry, I'll go down there and mellow out with some Billy Joe Shaver. Went downstairs and checked the Kenwoods, KR-V5560 & DP-M6640, the KLHs are Model 2410's. Last edited by Trubble; 05-24-2013 at 09:59 PM. Reason: Model #'s.
