Props to whatever you decided, I doubt you will be disappointed with any of them, just depends on what you plan to do...

Good luck with your choices and lets see pics when u finally make the deal!!

my wife loves trucks and would love me to buy a tundra but we've had 2 of those already and they were hers and this truck would be mine and i'm sure she would be more than ok with a raptor.
i'm not worried about it not being able to tow as much as other trucks. i dont currently have anything i can tow anyway. i'm not extremely worried about gas mileage either. the raptor isnt much worse on gas than anything else on my list.
i do like the ECO Boost F150 though my father inlaw just got one and its very nice. the raptors off road ablility is the deciding factor for me and its the reason its the only truck on my final 4 list, considering i want to build an off road project like a early 80's yota or international or something fun.
if i got the raptor i dont think i would go through with the off road project.
i've also been wanting to do a classic muscle project also.

The Raptor is cool, but unless you put its offroad capabilities to use once in a while, i dont really see the point. Dont get me wrong, i love the looks of it, but i dont know if i could put up with the mileage! Damn, my EB getting 15-16mpg makes me cringe...
The new Stangs are great, get the convertible ;)

Also if you have the wrx for fun, consider the practical aspect of this new car...

Of your four.... Raptor.

fast enough for your cravings, on and off-road, can haul your WRX or the Toyota you mentioned. you're not worried about gas, and after you get the 4-door truck cab space, there is no comparison in ANY car....

I'm sorry, but why are you driving a truck if you're concerned about fuel mileage? 15-16 is good for a truck that has a decent amount of power behind it.

Don't know how it is out by Joe$, but we hit $4.39 a gallon for regular today around where I live in Chicago 15-16mpg with that big of a gas tank and these prices makes me cringe and I'm running a mid sized sedan with a 16.9 gallon tank and burning E85 in it!

You live inside the city? When I moved to Houston, I bought a house in the middle of the city and I drive less now than I ever have. I couldn't tell you what gas prices are around here and I cant remember when the last time I put gas in my car was...

55k?!?!? Us paupers can't even fathom that. The 15 grand we spent on our latest purchase (yet another ex-rental car) has decimated what was left of our budget.

Have fun with whatever you decide to go for.

Same here. Not much of a need for a car in Chicago.
Public Transportation goes about everywhere.
That being said, I have 2 vehicles.

Just because i need a truck to haul sh*t once in a while and make it through our winters doesnt mean i enjoy paying $1.29/L ($5.20 / gal) or > $160 per fill up.

I know 16mpg is decent for a truck, doesnt make it any less painful at the pump.

And yes i'm glad i get 365hp/420tq with that, a few years ago i'd get half the mileage with half the power...

All i'm saying is there's a difference between "i have loads of cash and i truly dont care how much i spend on gas" and "mileage is not the deciding factor, but if i can save a few $ by buying an EB vs a Raptor for example, i'll think about it"

I'm in the western Burbs, maybe an hour drive from someplace like McCormick Place or the Science and Industry or Field Museums. We don't have the public transit here like the cities do and it Sounds like Wisconsin, Indiana, and Michigan are getting hit hard gas price wise too.

Holy crap! I don't know what gas costs here but diesel isn't even that much.

Edit: I just checked gasbuddy.com and gas is 3.45 here.

Our diesel is $3.89-$4.25 right now and I'm expecting it to reach the $4.25 before too long too

I just drove out to Colorado springs towing my camper and averaged 8mpg diesel. Tons of head wind. Hoping for a better return trip to pa.
