Not long from now petrol heads will either run their ICE illegal, and sit at home listening to engine sounds from the good old days.

Sounds like the prophecy of the song by Rush, The Red Barchetta, may not be too far off.

5:40 on their clock messed me up to get a 7:11, which would be P19 in the World. Currently P2 in the US... Not bad.

Nice lap EeePee. We should hold a cross platform challenge at some point, a car that's in iRacing and GT to compare the times.

Re: Things I'd normally share with just EeePee

Thanks. Happy with that one.

There's your benchmark, if the other platform has those two, the TS030 and Nürb 24hr, that is.

Re: Things I'd normally share with just EeePee

iRacing doesn't have that car.

Re: Things I'd normally share with just EeePee

It could be tough to find a similar car between iRacing and GT6.

The Toyota is at 1.61 kg/hp

No, I'm saying find the same car in both games. Something in the GT3 class looks like the best bet. Both games appear to have the BMW Z4 GT3, and the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 as well.

Alrighty. GT6 has those. The Z4 is known to be fast in the game, unfortunately it sounds like butt. The vacuum cleaner sound GT6 can be known for only 10 times worse than anything else. And the Merc is kind of slow in the game, but you can pick, and then we can find a track that's shared between the two and see how it goes.

Well, the Z4 in iRacing has a lower top speed compared to other GT3 class cars, but handles incredibly well. Most of us run the Merc though, but I like both cars so it doesn't matter to me. I'm a big fan of Spa, Suzuka, Watkins Glen, and the Nordschleife version of the ring.

I got Spa, Suzuka, and the Nordschleife and will run either car anywhere.

We tuning or keeping them stock?

I wonder how the tires will be? Same, close, not close. I get three compounds, stock is Hard, then Medium and Soft.

they went a little fast and furious internal motor cgi there in the middle.

the two giant bumper coolers remind me of what LG came up with to keep the c7 z06 cool on track. they cut two giant holes in the bumper and put intercoolers behind them

Yeah, Accord V6. They weigh a lot compared to the 4 cylinders and really throw the balance of the car off, but it has some decent torque.

When I first saw people doing those swaps I was like, oh hell yes, I want one. I still do, because well, I think it's pretty cool. But in reality, I'd rather have a bone stock Type R B18 motor. Or maybe even better, a K series. Or even better, a new turbo Civic motor.
