Re: Things I'd normally share with just EeePee Do it Mate firing this up again has made me feel young again:mrgreen: I,ve got a long way to go before its back to its former glory but i,m loving it ( bank account isn,t  ) This car was my fathers and i bought it of him after having to sell my beloved XA falcon Hardtop to pay fines . When i got it it was a beautiful mid 13 second car Being young it wasn,t fast enuff so various engine combos were installed before finaly ending up as 331 windsor stroker that ran 12.6 NA and mid to high 11,s on nitrous shortly after that the input shaft of the auto let go and it destroyed all the valve springs . and that was it , i parked it in my mums garage for 21 years:shock: As you know my Dad has been pretty crook lately , and while down in Brisbane for Tests and Hospital Visits we went over to mums and cleaned it of and decided to see if it would fire up , Replaced the electric fuel pump , pulled the carby of and literaly sprayed some carby clean thru it and then drained old fuel out of the tank then put some new fuel in and bang , it literaly fired straight up"thumbsup" After sitting for 21 years |
