I heard that too. So you are basically a gentleman driver for the rig? From the guys I've talked to, it roughly costs 5k just to drive out there, sign up, tuning, drive home, etc. let alone the price to build a rig, then rebuild it after the race...that's a smokin deal!

What is the reasoning for running propane. I noticed a few of the rigs today are running propane. Is ther a advantage to it?

if i understand thing correctly there are lots of advantages. Cleaner, pressurized so there's no fuel pump waiting fail, etc... gotpropane.com has info.
