How long would you wait to pay pal dispute a payment if the sell wont respond and they said they'd give you a tracking number and you know for a fact they see you private messages?

4 days, but he said he'd pm tracking the next day. Sent him a message and he was on, then logged off 5 minutes later.

I'd give it a full week. If no contact and no items in the mail box, file a claim.

I've had people insist on me gifting the money and if it's something that's a deal and I really want it I simply tell them I'll cover the fees above the agreed price. No one has argued with that and if they do I won't deal with them since it's a sure sign they're a fawking crook anyway.

You can file a dispute pretty much right after you pay if you want to. I had to do that with a chinese vendor I tried working with....I paid and then they changed the terms...so I protested....just don't escalate it to a claim until you are sure...don't drop anything either till you get your stuff and check it....

Thanks Eddie, I'm going to see if it shows tomorrow. Thats seems like a fair amount of time. I sent him a private message. It just bothers me that he was so fast to contact me in my wanted add, yet now that he has the money. It seems like he could care less.

i have a problem with a package that the usps lost... im out 170 bucks and as much as i want to work a deal out with the vendor its not looking like there is much motivation from their side, and i cant really blame them since its not anything they did that made the post office lose the package. insanely frustrating...

i did see that the vendor insured the package for way less than its actually worth. which kinda bothers me.
