| Re: What TICKS U OFF ??? Well, I retract the part regarding the Seahwaks. Whether they agree with that douchebag Kaepernick or not that was how you do it. You STAND as one team, unified. You show respect while showing your displeasure. I have, however, added some Dolphins player to the list.

Exactly. They are at work. They should be expected to act a certain way and that can be enforced as they are at their place of employment.

Okay...the NFL has pissed me off now, at least if they go through with it... Apparently 4 players are possibly going to be fined for wearing special cleats yesterday. Now, there is a uniform rule, where items have to come from the team or league, but FFS...really? First the Cowboys being denied to show respect for the fallen officers...now this...

I hear ya but that's always been a rule. Don't you remember Lynch being fined for wearing gold shoes during the Super Bowl? It's the same thing.

| Re: What TICKS U OFF ??? From a rule standpoint, I completely understand. Yesterday should've easily trumped that rule though. Lynch's case was fairly different. He wanted to show off, those players wanted to show respect. Showing respect & love to this country should never be a bad thing.

Shoes with stars and stripes on them in honor of a persons patriotism - players get fined. Some doosch bag sits during the national anthem and its ok because they respect players religions and beliefs? WTF! No its because they cant make you stand but they can make Nike pay them. Bigger problems in this world then some players shoes you money hungry pricks. Sorry I just loathe the NFL. | |

^^Agreed, loved watching football with my Dad growing up. Haven't cared to watch what passes as football these days in quite a few years. Football is slowly turning into Napcar without the engiines with all the drama and BS.

I don't think I'll ever understand what possesses someone to get so tangled up in a game that they have zero control over that if something happens their day (s) are filled with thinking, arguing and stewing about it. I get being a fan but if your team loses why do you suddenly have a bad day about it? Do you think any of the players that would wipe their ass with your money if given the chance care about you? |

football season is here. me under a car "I don't care" if anything regards the stars and stripes im in it. to explain... if you have the flag represented on your shoes... take them off. if a flag is on your pants... don't sit down or lay down. if the stars and stripes are flown on a rainy day.. it better not be at a school or on a military post. you can fly the flag at your house or on your truck all year round. but it cannot be draped upon your vehicle deck lid, your back window, your hood, your roof. the flag on your truck. fly it on the right if a vet or in the military. fly it on the left if you are not. show some respect of the flag. don't step on it. The recent overuse and misuse of the the words "patriot" and "traitor". The words seem to have devolved into the following: patriot - someone whom thinks just like me traitor - someone whom doesn't think just like me |
