I've been a Kenseth fan since 2003, but with him 2 laps down in 40th, I don't think it's going to happen this year.

Ladies and gentleman, it's been 14 years since I started this thread and 20 years since Dale Earnhardt Sr. lost his life doing what he loved.
Pre-race starts in 3 minutes.
I have 3/4 bottle of bottom shelf whiskey, a 12 pack of generic zero cola and 4 Pecan Porter's from 512 brewery. Wish me luck.
A few things have changed. I haven't been following NASCAR for a few years, so I have no idea who's who anymore.
And I now live in Texas, instead of Arizona. And today, it's 23 degrees outside and everything's frozen.

Yeah, we are experiencing record-breaking cold temperatures, ice, freezing rain, sleet, snow, all the kinds of things South Central Texas normally NEVER gets...

I'm just hopin' we don't lose power, as they are yammering on about that possibility all over the news.

The making of Days of Thunder was kinda cool and Donna Scott is still a hottie.
I'm pretty sure we're not getting a 500 tonight as they just started a replay of the Busch Clash. I still have a little whiskey and haven't had a beer yet.
The LED's in my house are starting to flicker.
