Weird issue lately

Every time I open my laptop and go to RCC and click on new posts I get the message "This forum requires you wait 15 seconds between searches" What's up with that? It's getting annoying, I could see if I actually did a search. Never had that happen before up until the last month or so. Anyone else have this?

Nope - just my first click ALWAYS going to some annoying full-page advertisement for something I don't get advertisements for anywhere else!

I get the ad first, then I get that message. 95% of the time.

I use Tapatalk, and it consistently shows the same posts as new for hours after I’ve looked at them.. that part is pretty annoying also

I only have that issue while on my phone. I assumed it was because the page refreshed when I opened my browser. I run ad and pop-up blockers on my PC, no annoying ads.

I use TapaTalk on my phone, and that always happens...but, ONLY within RCC. For all other forums I belong to, the search function operates exactly as it should.

I get both of these things whether on my phone, laptop or iPad. Have for awhile.

I use my iPad and sometimes the ad pop up turns invisible and when I click on a thread it takes me to another website. I’ve found that if I click way down at the bottom or the side my finger avoids the invisible ad...sometimes it reappears and I close it/move on. This site is very glitchy compared to other forums I’ve been a member of. Also the first one I have joined that makes you pay to post non hosted photos, and it’s not cheap...I get that it runs off support but most forums I’ve frequented have reasonable ‘buy in’. Not fussing, just my .02

At first it only happened with my Samsung phone. Now all devices. The 15second wait thing I find odd. I understood paying for a star eliminated this....once upon a time, perhaps.

I always get the pop up too. If the ad hasn't popped up on the first page, I click on any of the forums section/thread before i hit the (new posts ) button. Ad usually pops-up and I just hit the back button once, then the (new post) button.
