| Can the Search be Fixed?
Look, I understand back in the day on older software with poorer logging and older servers the 60 seconds between searches made sense. However, it's beyond frustrating when a search doesn't return what you're looking for or you make a mistake and have to wait 60 seconds each time. After once or twice I lose patience and do something else. These are the type things that severely limit this forum. It's literally the only forum I go on which does this, many of those also running vbulletin. The place is dying a slow death, and I sure don't want to egg it on, but damn. I have even been going on Facebook to find deals and information which sucks, because their system is worse for searching, but at least it doesn't force 60 second waits every time. And I hate Facebook! I fail to understand why Badger and Jason are even holding onto this place, does it really create enough add revenue to make it worth it for them? At least having an owner like 1BJB would mean someone actually gave a crap. |

In before the first "Buy a membership". Use google for searching, forum searching generally sucks. For searching a single term it's ok, but that's about it. type your search terms followed by: site:www.rccrawler.com/forum This also means you get to use all the features of google searching like and/or and +/- operators |
