Default SxS Navigation

I have graduated from a quad to SxS (Can Am Commander), and looking at navigation options. I have a Garman Rino 550, which was fine for the quad, but will be annoyingly small for the SxS.

Right now I have a 7" iPad that I am planning on running Gaia on. The iPad will be wrapped in a LifeProof case and linked to a Garman GPS receiver (understanding that Gaia runs $40/yr).

Are there any better options our there? What do you guys run?

Donka!

We kind of had to upgrade. We went on a 9-hour ride on the ATVs a couple of weeks ago and were sore for days afterwards. It is a bitch getting older, but on the bright side, it does necessitate the buying of new toys.
