I’m likely going out one night to stay for the next day and head home. Not exactly sure what day that will be though.

I went yesterday, it was a complete sh*t show. My dad and I started the day off just cruising through the desert and finding the race course for the desert challenge which was fun.
Then I’m not ashamed to admit we wheeled our way into the camp area to meet up with a friend and avoid paying the outrageous costs to only be in there for a few hours. No cell service, so trying to locate people was impossible but the place was slammed with people willing to shell out the $100 a head to get into the madness. If I were to go back, I’d go off grid for sure and try to find a remote spot on the course to watch.

its only $30 for the locals and that money gets donated to the city
or else i would just go sit in one of the spots i know of

for the amount of people there there handeling it well not like last year when the staff ran around yelling at people i had a guy litterally jump in front of my truck and started yelling at me for absolutly no reason

If I fell into the local category I would 100% have paid it. But I wasn’t going to spend $200 between and my old man for the 2 hours we were in the camping area after 3pm. But I get it

ya i dont blame you $100 a head is a tough pill to swallow the only time in 15 years i have ever been asked for a wrist band was at the gate in hammer town i keep mine in my pocket i havent worn one in 5 years atleast

its basicly in my back yard and the music at night is cool im not a.fan of metal but am definitly looking forward to sublime with ro9m

i dont know whos idea it was to charge $20 for a hotdog and ice tea but they should be drug out in the desert and rolled around in a cactas patch

the food is crazy exspensive this year

oh and the damb toyota broke down again so instead of wheelin im a wrenchin lol thats how.it goes lol
