Nothing real special about mine, I'm an Elevator man by trade and the worst thing I've had to work on are shorts. Then I saw Rockwerks post one day after I bought my star and there it was. I like letting the majic smoke out when it's not my stuff, or somebodys stuff I'm working on. And Slugz calls me ShorTy. My original screenname was "WildRice", and that one comes from the mx/enduro/harescramble racing days. Last name is Rice and I had a crazy streak that got me into trouble and laid me up in plaster more than once. Wildman Stan, got shortened to WildRice. Also have "Ricegas" on the Thumpertalk forum...I ride a Gasgas (spanish) 300cc 2-stroke. ShorTy |

When I built my first crawler I thought I was going to revolutionize the crawling world by making my lower links out of solid steel hex rod to keep the weight down low on my TXT, hence the name.

in 9th grade I had an excentic latin teacher who couldn't get around the pronunciation of my last name. When I raised a hand to answer a question he pointed and yelled, "Heboth, herbath, hairball, that's it from now on you're hairball." I've kept it for almost 15 years now, just turned the L's into 1's so I don't have "that name is already used" problems online. |
