Another Marine here, when I was in they just called me Freak. I've always wanted to build a scale RC LAV-25 (and am in the middle of my eleventy fifth abortive idea for doing so.) Some day.... -val |

Played tournament paintball for about 6 years and always shot a Smart Parts Shocker paintball marker. To this day I still own a 99 Turbo Brick Shocker. Nothing like old school accuracy and the "original" ramping board. I merged the Shocker from my old hobby with my new R/C hobby. Worked out nicely b/c these days my niche is all about shock setup in all my trucks. I never run stock. And I'm 100% electric in all my r/c endeavors. Rather electric r/c = shock. So not so much 2 in the pink, 1 in the stink.......but it's a real close second my friends |

Awesome thread My first bike when I was 11 (over two decades ago ) was a Honda ATC 200x. 10 years later my bud's and started restoring some. Not long after I noticed on a 3 wheeler website guys from the south called them yarddog's and it stuck. |

The 1st crawler I built I painted the axles red to match the body I was painting. I'm a old model builder so I painted things to match. Still do but don't paint the axle's any more.

After my daughter was born I became a bit of a PC dork also got back into RC after 20 years ...anything to stay away from my former "endless party" lifestyle and be the nice daddy ... The name came from a shooter game addiction I had for about a year or two ago , every time I got a head shot "Head Hunter" was called out in the game so it stayed as a online name ... Since my Heavy Metal live show days early 1990s my name was "Alex Corpse Grinder" a year or two later "George Corpse Grinder" of Monstrosity now in Cannibal Corpse appeared ... The name The Head Hunter I have decided to maybe use in future releases of my new CD's ... hence a poll I posted a while ago to actually help me see how the public would react to this name ...:-( it was actually seen as being vain or something in the Chit Chat section and made me look like some kind self loving attention seeker .... I will never forgive these animals just kiddin... |
