| Everyone wants to call it a bruiser
Why do you call it a Bruiser when all you have is a frame? Nothing else is from a Bruiser. TLT axles, pede trans, traxxax shafts.... It's just rediculous. A frame does not make it a Bruiser |

i may not have one but i agree with dtp, the bruiser chassis does not = a bruiser, maybe a rule "must have two or more major original peices (i.e. chassis, axles, tranny, body)"

For the same reason JP magazine features a rig with 2 1/2 ton axles, a Chevy motor, Chevy transmission, Atlas T-case, coilover shocks, and calls it a Jeep. Cuz it has a Jeep part on it (the body in this case), therefore it must be a Jeep. http://www.jpmagazine.com/featuredve...983_jeep_cj_8/ Not that I have anything against Garth's rig, it's bad azz, but I don't see what Jeep part contributes to it's performance. well what dictates what the rig is classed as, the chassis or axles? if i had a bruiser based rig its easier to call it a bruiser than a bruiser frame'd, tlt axle'd, R2 trans'd, traxxas radio'd and shaft'd scale rig. i agree though, just because you use a bruiser frame dosnt make it a bruiser. Like I said to each their own right? I think a chino clone is still pretty Bruiser like. Uses the frame, body, leafs and all, just a different axle and trans | |

hmm, so i guess that makes my left over bruiser nuts and bolts worth a pretty penny. anyone interested in converting your rig to a bruiser?
