Default Old toys...

Does anyone remember Stompers from the 80's? I helped my dad clean out his attic today. I found tons of Hotwheels, Matchbox, G.I.Joes, Stompers, and..............a Hilux and Blazing Blazer. I forgot I had all this crap. I'm going trough all of it as we speak.

Brings back OLD memories when I did'nt have a care or worry in the world...

I have the off road log course for my Stompers. I also cellect Hotwheels/Matchbox cars still to this day. Mrs. Special laughs every time I come out of the store with my arms full of Hotwheels. She always asks what I'm gonna do when I come home one day and the little one is crashing them together. I told her I would cry like a little baby. Good thing I buy doubles of all them for the most part.

Man I used to have about twenty of them back in the early 80s. My mom threw them out (along with a lot of other stuff) when I went to college. My favorites were the datsun king cab, baja bug, and later (newer tire style) the ford f150 supercab. I remember taking the gears out of the stomper semi-trucks and putting them in the small ones (to lower the gear ratio) so I could put on bigger tires. I don't have any of the small ones, but I did find these in a box(even have one of the PTO winches) a few years back. They are much bigger than the originals and came out at the end of the stomper craze.

I bought some off the bay a while back. Loved em when I was a kid.

I even have one of the tanks along with the trucks and semi's.

Now I just got to get one of those pulling sleds.

What about this, I used to have this Evil Kneivel motorcycle that you put in this holder and you would crank the hell out of it and when you stopped cranking it would come screaming off the cradle. It would throw a pretty good rooster tail and stayed upright pretty good because of the gyro effect of the ridiculously fast spinning rear tire. Lots o fun with that one. I see you can still get them and a copy of them on the bay.

What about the old "Yard Darts"?

you better post up some pics of the hilux and blazer speaking of stompers and hotwheel, check these out

Thats just some of the hot wheels, there are a some more of those holders on the wall coming down the stairs. A lot more in big tupperwares as well. I have been collecting for years, all 1st editons mostly, I rarely find any treasure hunts by me.

The stompers were actually passed on to me by my stepdad. I also have many of his old AFX slot cars, as well as some that I have collected over the years from various hobby shops and fares.
