Just took it out on a 7.4V pack which put me at 147W/lb.

At 1/4 throttle on that pack she flies nice, not too fast. Very controllable.

Giving it more throttle picks up the speed a good bit but from 3/4 to full throttle there's no real speed increase...just more noise.

Fun plane to fly. Made a few passes in front of me about waist high off the ground and climbed out. Fun stuff.

Now to find my small 11.1V pack.

7.4V 800mAh pack gave me a flight time of 12:36 before li-po cutoff kicked in.

I'll bet that video doesn't do it justice.

Is the music susposed to sound like a rapper is being beat to death with a turntable, or is my sound screwed up?

Ahh, so it is the audio. Couldn't really tell, wasn't sure if the song was susposed to sound that way.

That motor does scream.

This is the motor.

666, no access to a radar gun.

A few shots:

Size reference with Ralph.
Battery location. Can also see the lead that was used to balance it.
Motor.
Motor plate made from ply.

Also fixed the video.
