Default no rocks

Hey all , im new to the fourm but not to rc, i want to get into crawling but i just thought of something , i live in houston and theres not realy any rocks here i was thinking maybe going up to san antonio to some of their comps if i can get into it.
also i will need a truck, ive been searching on here for a while and had planned on peicing together a rig, but i think i am going to get the ax-10

ax-10, and btw you can crawl logs and stuff..I do it all the time you just have to have the right tires (m2ks)

maybe if i find a club or something arround here the comps would be in dirt or log situations insted of rock? anyways itll be mid next week before i would be able to order the ax-10 , looking foward to the build, enentuly i would like to change some things up on it but i think ill stay stock for a while :/

Don't forget about concrete. I've made a small course with some big chunks of concrete that I arranged.

And if you want to leave it stock for a while, the AX-10 is definitely your best bet.

yea i was also thinking of just setting some kind of course in the back yard or something, also i couldent help myself i went ahead and orderd my ax-10 today , should be here this time next week

There are plenty of places to wheel your crawler in Memorial Park. Head over to the mountain bike trails. I'll be there this Saturday morning.

Hey, CTR, if you go to San Antonio, you should check out Raymond Russell park. It is by Fiesta Texas. Just make sure the stream is empty. There are some sweet (for Texas) rocks and formations in the streambed, and a huge covered pavilion.

i think i know just were your talking about i used to stay by utsa , i totaly forgot about that streem /gully , i realy need to get up there

CTR go to our local club website, www.txrcrca.org sign up, we have get-togethers and comps every month and swith locations every month, we just recently had a scale run this month. Good luck man.
