Has anyone used this one? looking to use this for my stock TLT for fun fast ride while I finish my Axial Project. TLT may turn into rock crawler later.. |

I dont think the tranny and the gears would hold up to well to that system. I have a Velineon in my Evader and had to upgrade the tranny and differential.

A 55t lathe is too much for the stock stuff. It's not worth the time to even mess with it. Stock tlt diff gears in the axles aren't going to hold up to a fast brushless system either.

Just throw a higher voltage in there for some cheap thrills. Not really the right vehicle for it though, you would need open diffs for that power.

That means the differentials need to be open, and not locked.

35t motor on 3s lipo would be fast. Or just the 55t on 3s.

Id do 8 cells on the stock silver can. Or a 19t brushed. But i broke ring / pinions fairly consistently on my scaler with that kind of power till i switched to axial axles. TLT gears just arent that great.

if you wanna go fast with that tlt your gonna have to beef it up seriously. RCP cvd's and hardened steel pinion, Rc4wd spool, Fatrock aluminum c's, aluminum knucles, bearings. good luck. |

you could definatley run some brushless power through this john would have a better idea of about how high but it could probably handle the velinion if you ran a good tranny. the most id put in the little stocker is a 35T with stock tranny, 27T with an upgraded tranny. |

You are really going to have to try it out. If you want a solid axle basher the f350 is your best choice for sure, just keep the diffs open and use a low kv motor on low voltage at first.
