Round up is a broad spektrum herbicide, so it kills everything. I second the tarp idea, give em a dousing of herbicide and a tarp for the winter.

I dont know where you are at but unless you are real allergic in the winter when it is dormant is the best itme to remove it roundups dont work great on it some more industrial killers do but you shouldnt be able to buy them. but that doesnt mean you cant check your phone book for a local lawn care chemical sales place... they can point you in the right direction.. I know we have used hyfar to kill it pretty nasty stuff it kills alot of stuff its a soil sterilizer from what i was told.. burning is a real real bad idea dont do it..

The weird benefit of this was after living through that experience, poison ivy does not affect me at all now, I'm like immune to it or something. I can roll in the stuff if I want to... | |

Looks like your best solution may be to invite some of the guys from here that aren't allergic to it over for a poison ivy pullin' party! |
