Excuse me??

Have had no issues with my Rover.

BTW if it is not leaking you are out of fluid.

Yeah that's why FORD owns Jaguar now and MG and Triumph ended in shame. And yes, I do have experience with both...

1997 Land rover discovery I, 2 inch lift(thats about all you need in a land rover) BF Goodrich all-T. Mt family has owned about one of every thing, lol. and the TJ we had was a piece of sh!t. The land rover how ever has been a runner since we got it 3-4 years ago. never had one single problem and it has nearly 120,000 miles on it.

Yes, there are a few Rovers that are fairly reliable, but then you need to look at the vast majority of them. I worked in a Rover shop for a couple weeks while on break from school and the whole first week was full of Disco 1 and 2s (new vehicles every couple days) and the second week there were a few Range Rovers. My dad has had his D90 for just over a year and a half and hasn't had many issues with it, but they are still there whether you know it or not. Just my .02 with experience concerning Rovers.

my Xj is pushing 220,000 and running better than ever never have any problems with it except for changing the normal fluids.

LOL!

That'd be why Land Rover and Jaguar are the ONLY companies in Ford's empire that make money rather than make a loss.

How often do you see anyone use a Jeep for an expedition across Asia, Africa, or through any third-world country? Not as often as a Landy, that's for sure.

...and it leaks to let you know it's got enough oil in it, and it has the double usage of marking it's territory.

What's funny is that with all these Rovers and Rover drivers...you'd think someone would go "Ya know, these things could probably use better gaskets."
