[QUOTE=Grizzly4x4;2157004]Not necessarily.QUOTE] yeah X2,,,a comp rig may have the capabilities as far as flex and drivetrain and clearances but the weight in some areas would make a comp rig harder to drive cuz they are usually a lot lighter... |

Im getting really intrigued by this idea. I converted my AX-10 into a mudd and hill climb truck, but never got to run it. Ill have to adjust the wheelbase a bit for the frame twister part, the wheels get caught up on the bumpers when flexing, but it will be fun!

Just a heads up - i built the TTC courses last year up at finishline. Its not as easy as you would think.... out of pocket a couple hundred bucks, bout 1 weeks worth of vacation time and unknown howmuch Dan threw down for all that water. The hard part was also keeping the obsticles consistant from rig to rig, cause as the runs went on, the water levels would go down due to them soaking into the dirt... It was a hell of a time! I would love to do it again! Do a search on the colorado forum for Top truck Challenge or Tuff truck Challeng (cant remember what we called it) - heck - it may have even fallen under one of the "crawlerado" labels as well.. tons of pics and videos! The big flop on the event was the truck pull... my math sucks and the tonka truck was about 5x's heaver then it should been.. (it wieghed in at 60lb's!) A good 12-15lbs would have been perfect! |

im gonna stop at this place down the street from my house, they have a bunch of concrete chunks piled up! im gonna ask him if we can have it!lol and my buddy owns a mobile power washing company so he has a huge tank on a trailer! we could fill it up and have plenty of water! and something to wash the rigs off at the end of the day! i would say we should start but the ground is probably frozen... once i get the new rims on our tractor i could probably trailor it down there, i dont live that far from there. how big are we allowed to make it? |
