| Know the location a little sooner
I know I am very new to this whole series (only did two last year) but is there any way that we could get the general location of the next comp sooner? Not knowing if I will driving 15 min or 3 hours makes it tuff to plan for. I know we don't want a lot of pre-running but if we just set a city or a general area it doesn't seem like that would happen. Just a idea |

Originally the location was not posted till the prior week because there were issues expressed that people were over running the locations before the events. And really its the way it has always been done and it works. | |

I think 1 week out is plenty of notice.

I can agree with the one week out idea. Either way I don't think pre running a location would give an edge because you never know how the course will be built. Not to mention a lot of the setting on your rig to fine tune has to be done day of to account for temperature and other elements. Down side to not knowing the location till a week prior is that the only people that will get to pre run the rock are those who live close to that location. Seams kinda unfair in that aspect. In PA we post location with the date of the comp so if individuals want to practice they are afforded the oppertunity to do so. If think about it most competitive motor sports are given the oppertunity to practis before the race day. There's arguments either way for this. IMO no mater how you do it, those who put in the wheel time will always Excel. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk |

Another reason we have to wait is because of "Colorado weather" hard to tell if some of our spots will be loaded with snow or t-shirt weather in this crazy state. Makes it hard to predict when we can use some spots. Also we're always trying to find new spots as well! Anyways looky>>>>>>>>>>>> CORCC comp #2 Daniels park 11/6! |

Trying to secure what we think might be a good location for the 11th. With all the recent snow we have got and possibly more on the way it's kinda tricky! Hey South guys, hows Palmer looking? North? Horsetooth? Any idea's? |

That's too bad. We have a slew of areas that are close to town. You should still swing thru sometime, the skinny bearded one was thinking of coming at some point.

Not much snow melt going on up here this weekend. Few sunny days and that new spot I was telling you about could be an option. Will keep an eye on it next couple days.

| I live right next to Palmer Park and we have had almost no snow all winter, I'm sure all the rocks would be clear.

I'll put in a solid vote for palmer park or woodland park area, but driving 4 hours on a sunday humm I wouldn't be able to make it. Not enough $$$$ this close to christmas. The f150 eats alot of $$$ I can check both locations for snow the day prior if need be.
