| Rc crawling at red rocks
Hello all. New to rc crawling and loving it. My friend and I we're wanting to know if to can crawl at red rocks park. I have seen videos and read post about people playing out there. But my friend and I went there last Monday to play I read some signs that say no climbing on rocks. Any help would be great. Thanks |

Consider red rocks sacred ground. there are sanctioned events a few times a year where we can crawl at red rocks and we all work hard to respect the land and its owners wishes to keep it that way. Check out the Colorado Crawling Atlas for other locations in and around the Denver-Metro area and you are more that welcome to join us at any of our organized events at the shop or around town.

Yeah, please don't get caught with an RC Crawler there. It's a pretty special place to comp when the permission is given, and it would be a shame to have that taken away.

If your really interested in that type of rock try mount Falcon park in Morrison, while they have the same rules as Red Rocks park there are seldom rangers there. Same rock, but not much risk of getting in trouble. There are also a few spots along the Hog Back that are fun too, but take a little bit of searching.

This is the reason we didn't play because we didn't want to mess any thing up for anyone. Thank you all for the information.

Im over near DIA/Reunion Im fairly new to the RC world, but would like to meet up with others, without driving into the mountains, if I did that, Id want to wheel the 4Runner lol. Let me know if anyone in the area knows a good place, thats LEGAL, and close. I too, am really about staying legal, and follow Stay the Trail, dont want to ruin it for myself or others. |
