I will be out on Sunday unless I find something catastrophic in the morning.
Right after I got my turck when I was still young and dumb I wired up a CB radio and the power wires ran down the drivers side back behind the seat and then up between them. Well the radio was pulled from service 7 years ago and I left the wires where they were. My guess from looking at the mess is that those wires which did not have a fuse on them (remember, young and dumb) finally rubbed through the insulation and shorted out and then super heated everything close to them. I got very lucky because if my windows had been closed I would be car shopping in the morning

I will be there Sunday even if I have to walk most of the way

Man, that IS sad! I can rebuild a clod, build a brand new 2.2 in a day and do all my daily errands, and you can't even show?

BTW, I will have a 2.2 for anyone who wants to show and drive!!

I knew a guy that was in a hurry to get his truck and new pop-up camper...the slide-in bed mounted type... wired up for a camping/fishing trip. Took a couple short cuts, no fuse and didn't use grommets where he ran the wires through the body @ the firewall and the bed, burnt the whole rig to the ground while he was fishing. DOW and Forest Service were all over his **** when he came back to see it all burnt to the ground.

Got the wiring ok, just looks like ***. Smoked a servo in a 10 minute show and tell run with a guy from work the other day. Was scoping out a spot along Cherry Creek over by Shotgun Willies and let him bash around for a little, I forgot to check the 5985 for temperature and she went up in smoke I was going to put some heatsink paste in the case, but the stuff I had was conductive and wouldn't work,....well I guess it would've had the same end result.

So I've got all this crawler stuff and no running rigs, A Team Losi LST of my friends that he wants me to clean up and sell, and a soccer game to coach on Saturday. Michelle wants to do the church thing Sunday am, and she told me to get the Toyhauler out of storage and start working on it and get ready for camping and dirtbike riding. Not to mention getting the bikes serviced and ready, wash the riding gear and make sure Colton still fits into his gear from last year, the kids growing like a weed. Probably should stop droping him in the manure pile

See all this family life you get to miss out on

You really should treat that Ranger a little better there, Slugz. As a fellow FORD man, I'm rather embarassed for you.

Not worth being in the doghouse (or attorneys office) for pissing the wife off. She's getting kinda tired of the rc stuff, I think the T-maxx pushed her to the edge Or maybe it was the TLT kit, the Mamba Maxx and the 5985 servo I just fried. Tough one to call. Wait till she finds out about those Spektrum radio's I got from Sparky.
