I don't know of anyplace off hand, I'll have to do some scouting. You guys would probably know more places than me, but I'll keep an eye out.

I blame the damn hippies too busted!!

Hippies ruin everything!!!

I'm more familiar with stuff up north here than south. Like I said befo, I'm lost once I get South of Erie. I'll look around as much as I can though.

I have a nice place to crawl in Fort Collins my house and Horse Tooth damm if it does not work out down there. If it is ok I am in unless somthng comes up.

The offer is still out there if you wanna come up here, let me know. I wont get mad at yall.

The flatirons in boulder would be a good spot to move the comp. I like it up there as does Wes. Feel free to chime in there Griz or Ace about what you guys think about the FlatIrons.

180 days in jail for driving a r/c crawler- That's funny Stupid yanks

That's gotta suck though! But I guess even though crawlers don't go fast, you might get someone like dirk who rolls his truck down off a cliff and could hit someone on the head

I know it's pretty harsh for driving an R/C crawler around. He said it was "in the best interest of the wildlife", it's a frickin barrand wasteland. Oh well, time to find a new spot.

We should come up with a list and vote. But we should figure it out soon, because the utrcrc guys have to get a hotel. So they can make reservations soon.

Flatirons is a good spot, but I dont think there is enough parking and I'm still not convinced that we wouldn't get ticketed. It is the Republic of Boulder, "Hippie Homeland". All those signs saying that we need permits to park kinda make me think that with a big group up there somebody would call the cops or Ranger.

I dont want people from Utah going to a comp and leaving with a ticket.

It aint the rangers fault or the city's fault for making the laws. It's the peoples fault. Somebody would bring their 15 lb all aluminum Savage with a .47 motor that does 50mph and break someone's leg or something. Then they would sue the city for letting the rc's be there. It's too bad but that's they way society is.
:damn soapbox, get that thing out of here:

Take some pics but I am leary of doing at a city park for the same reason they got kicked out of Red Rocks. Depending on what it looks like we could consider it.

Well, the FlatIrons are cool....other than they ate my servo!!! Not sure where to hold a nice comp, I am outta places I can think of right now.

I think too many of us would get us noticed at the FlatIrons, like you said Griz.
