Basically after internetbrands bought VB they changed their pricing structure for everything making everything way more expensive and their new direction with VB4 with the integrated blog front end is from what I have read still very buggy and IMO looks like crap. And now they have released their mobile software only for VB4 testing and not the 3.8 line, since I never plan on going to VB4 that was the straw that broke the camels back for me.

Thanks again for keeping interest in this. You made it a lot easier for a bunch of us to visit our favorite website on the go

Thanks. Honestly, after using Tapatalk on our three sites for just the last week, I wish I had installed it a long time ago!

Yeah it makes it so easy to view and post from a smart phone.

I only wish we could moderate from it. I absolutely live using it, I don't like to go back to safari to use the moderator tools. But that is the ONLY negative I see.

Looking at the tapatalk forums, that feature should be released to the public very soon, they were expecting to put it out a few days ago..

Much nicer! You guys need to upload the nifty RCC logo to tapatalk so I get a cool icon when I create a widget to RCC!!

Cheers!

After some time using Tapatalk the only bad thing I can find so far is it does not yet support multi-quote. Not to shabby considering how much faster and easier it is to navigate than Safari (hate the pinch to zoom).

I purchased the app for the iPhone. It's a decent layout, but I don't like that you can't just search the for sale section alone now... You only have a general search. The pics take longer to load than they do in safari.
I also don't see the smiley option.
Anyone else have this issue, or am I missing something ?

Haven't searched on mine, but I have noticed that the pics often take longer than expected to show themselves. I don't recall looking for any emoticons, either.

Josh, check out the latest update to tapatalk, they've added moderation tasks. We just have to convince Jason and Badger to update the version on the server, hint hint

More issues...
Sometimes if guys use fancy BBC code in the post, it doesn't show up on tapa. I know the for sale section had a few posts that i needed to open in safari just to see prices. Also some direct links posted to videos and such don't work.
Other than the ease of scrolling and not having to zoom in on page numbers and little things... Tapa isn't any less a hassle than safari. Each has it's advantages.
Then again, if I was on a blackberry, I could see how this would be better simply due to the smaller screen.
Just get glasses and save your $$$

Tapatalk is not intended to be a complete replacement of using a browser on a laptop or desktop computer.

So far I love Tapatalk for it's ease of use on quickly viewing the latest posts.
