at this next gtg we might need to do some judge training cause i know i am not up to par. i think that would help out alot with running all three courses at the same time. mabee lay something out at the gtg for a process to run all three at the same time!

I'd like to thank the guys that laid out all the courses, and helped judge and time today. Mike thanks for adding up the scores and posting them.
Congrats to James & Jay on their WINS. Arron good job on 3rd place out
of 20 in the class! I hope I'm off for our next Comp. I plan on changing out
the rock I used to weight the front of my 2.2 today with alittle lead in the wheels.

well seeing how things went well for everyone today i have decided that a congratulations is in order. nice driving by everyone.

nice pics mike. thanks for postin up the rat. he felt left out last comp.

after seeing the results of todays comp(20 of 20) and the last comp(12 of 14) i have come to the conclusion that i need to rethink/redesign my truck. so it is getting redesigned and rebuilt. i hope to have it done for the gtg but im not sure if krista will let me have the time i need to get it working well.

any sugestions as to what would work best for the new rig will be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance. and keep on crawlin.

till next time

Default The Spot

The first pictures definetly shows off the spot.
I just happened to be by Tony as he ran #3, and caught a little action, pic by pic.

Default New Tech at the Comp

We saw some innovative tech at Sunday's event. Bikedad showed up with a nice BTA set-up for AX-10's. I'll get pop to post a thread on the AX-10 section.

Cars69 had one of my favorite mods though. Rick had pulled too much wheel weight out of his front tires and was at risk of not being able to clear the steep climb on stage 2. He took a repair penalty to add some weight. Here's his solution, it worked.

Hey Rick,
What vendor is selling that weight? I could use a couple of those. lol
Nice use of the rock for additional weight, Great fix.
That last course was a killer.

Umm, I believe that is an illegal modification for a repair.
Your pictures look great guys and the comp terrain appears to be top notch, I enjoyed viewing it and the rigs.

Here's some pics of the last comp. I only have pics from the first course of 2.2's. Hope you like them.

Now that's what I call close judging.

Buster on his way to another good run.

Not much father to go.

Down Boy!

This doesn't look to bad.

Now to gate 3.

That's how to do gate 4.

Gotta get a little closer to the left.

What a great view.

Now that's what I call concentration.

Any more vertical and he'd be upside down!

Where's gate 3?

Reaching for the sky.

The finish at last.

What a nice rig.

Is this the right way?

Should of turned a little earlier.

I think he's gonna make it.

Making it look easy.

Now that's what I call being on the "Edge".
