looks like those custom chassis are starting to bring the bulus down to earth! I think the moabs did much better than the mashers IMO. They were just sooo grippy and nice to drive. |

RCMFMaxxMan - Did you have foams in yours? I think I felt Don's tires (silver boddied Bulu) and he didn't have any foams. |

yeah i saw don's and they were completely compressed so i assumed he had no foams. For mine i put proline 2.2 road hawg II foams in two of my tires (mainly because they were shorter and softer and because i had them) and then for the other two tires i cut my foams the same size as the road hawgs but i gave it a concave design (on accident cause i suck at cutting foam). These foams turned out to work quite well. They gave good sidewall support and still really good flexibility. Here are my cut foams: |

Don't dislocate your shoulder patting yourself on the back....... After all it was BULU chassis in the top spots. I'll bet my 1st gen BULU was the oldest 2.2 truck there! Kisses, vance

haha. thanks for the warning vance. I guess it really doesn't mean anything that two custom chassis beat the majority of the bulus. i guess its really all about the driving.

Toyo and Jason, thank you for the kind words regarding the performance of the stick chassis. I have to give props to Mike for doing a great job driving. LOL I love it, the twig. That's a great name! Looks like it was a great event but no water action! that can't be an orcrc event, no way! |

If Toyo can't find water, he will find MUD! http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/attac...tid=4168&stc=1 But seriously, all the water on the rocks was dried up since its been 85-90 degrees for the last month. But the water will start falling from the sky soon again! Yes, Mike is a great driver, but I feel teh stick also helped out a long. So much so that I'm rethinking a new chassis for me to try to compete with! |

Not only did the "Stick" work but it made the hard course look easy. This had to have been one of the hardest courses I've ever seen. We don't even really play on turf this hard even when we are out there for fun. It was a steep, lots of crazy angles and had to have no fear of rc damage type courses. One slip and the truck would flop the 10-15ft right to the bottom. Both courses were on the steep side of the cliff/hill/ridge/what-ever... It was also weird to see NO shafted big trucks at a ORCRC even. The big trucks were all Clods. Clods never showed up in the ORCRC group until early this year and now look... all freakin' Clods Not to worry the Maxx and Twin Force trucks are coming back to kick some butt

I know Ryan is busy this weekend(Mogfest) so anything from him will probably be next week. As for Dave, I haven't heard anything about his video releases yet.

thats good to hear that that was the hardest course you guys have done because i was beginning to think you guys were insane. But that was a fun and challenging course. So I wouldn't be too upset if you guys didn't tone it down. And i'm eager to see that video!
