Hey Kenny/JIA, thanks for putting this event on and I hope that the kids enjoyed all the toys that yall took to them

All of the gates should've been 16 inches for 2.2 We set them up with a steel ruler.

I intentionally placed some gate markers where they would force you to drive a specific line. If I wanted you to have to drive a sidehill (on the sidewalls, actually

) situation (like gates 5-7 on the 2.2 finals course, pictured below) I'd just move one side of the marker in to force the line. The uphill side really didn't matter at that point as long as I didn't make the gate so wide that you could drive on top of the ledge. Once you entered the sidehill at gate 5 you were committed until you exited through 7. Not overly difficult, but fun to drive and definitely fun to watch.

The gate that surprised me the most was the last gate on course two. I was surprised to see so many people end up like this:

Nope! You can plug a keyboard into your USP port and use it

Thats how a wireless keyboard works.....I use one on my laptop all the time

Kenny, is there a way you could post up the Official Sponsors of the Event? The ones that contributed, i am curious to see who i should be supporting that supported us! I dont want to foul the names of the "talk only" companies, just curious of who helped with a very worthy cause.

I had an awesome time, though i didnt score great, i had a blast and cannot wait til next time. Im now officially HOOKED!

I posted a list in the other thread we have for the comp, this first one. It's on the last page. You can add MaxAmps to that list as I have the package they sent me now. It was late but got here
