| Rusty's my bro. I was hoping we could both run. I'm just the ETRC red headed stepchild so whatever the chiefs say... I'm cool with it..

On another topic...From the rules Each Club will build an equal number of courses.... So do you guys want to do 2 courses for each class or 4 ........ I say 2 ..Only so many hours in a day you know Oh yea harvo who hell said we didn't like you ??? |

2 isn't enough, I say 4 5 gate course........ No seriously, 4 courses that are 7 or 8 gates, make them short and sweet. There are only 10 drivers and the others can go on and start. |

and seriously... I'll do whatever you guys decide about 5th, and I know you're not asking... but if there are 2 less people running in the 2.2 runoff (Joe /Tyler's) 2 club wins... whats it going to hurt? Running an "illegal" truck, asking dumb questions, and complicating the top 5 list... I'm sure I'm pissing somebody off ... Last edited by Harvo; 06-04-2009 at 07:56 PM.

All the little Debbies in the world would not change my opinion of how a tie needs to be broke. Nobody in ETRC hates you. It'd be to easy to just ban you if that was the case. Don't get sore Peter, just playin. It's not how I feel about a person, what they run or questions they ask. A tie should be broke on the rocks chasing gates. That's fair IMO. Just like 2 guys sharing a truck. I feel it's not fair to the rest of the field. I won't even let Eddie run my truck in the same comp as me....he could do better if he did. It could be seen as "pre running"....so I won't do it. There are several opinions in here on this "tie breaker" subject. It basically boils down to the guys actually involved in the scores for that class though. You know my opinion. BUT,if the majority of the guys in that class that are actually running in the crawl off,ETRC and SERCRC combined, are good with letting you and Rusty slide through, fine. Charge your batteries up and hope for the best.

Well it just kind of sucks. All Rusty and I did were come to all the comps and finish tied for 5th. I figured there was some kind of plan for a tie. Sounds like there was to begin with. If people start throwing out opinions... of course I'm going to get mine in, especially if I'm involved. I don't really think anyone dislikes me (I was playing) I hope I didn't sound whiney (I'll do a 1 on 1 or whatever ya'll decide) And I didn't really think anything I said would change anything anyway. If the powers that be want a tie breaker. So be it. If they want to let us both run, so be it. I am lucky to be able to be part of a club like ETRC, I'm happy with a 5th or 6th place for my first season, and no matter what happens with the tie breaker, I ain't got hard feelings for anybody. I personally think the 5th place spot should be decided on the rocks to see who runs in the run off. I am not trying to piss anyone off or keep anyone out . At nationals I was stuck finishing 6th in 2.2 because the tie breaker for 5th was decided by the last course and it was the only course Austin beat me on all day. That sucked I would have much rather had a 1 course crawl off. But personally I would have felt like I did not deserve the chance to run if they would have let us both run finals. Just my 2 Cents. As for the ones of us that have qualified with both clubs. We worked are asses off to do so.Why should we have to throw away our spots in one of the clubs so someone who did not make the cut can get in after the work that we put forth to get the spots? |

Is this place kid friendly? Like 2 year old friendly? I want the wife and kids to come, but I don't want it to be a PITA for the Miss's.

I don't believe there is any cover from the sun (or rain) so you may want to bring some kind of pop up or cover or tarp. But they are supposed to have a vendor on the premises for food. |
