Yes it should be yanked, hard and fast.

And if there was an event official present that ignored the situation, they should be dealt with as well.

I'm with the rules are rules and they should be followed crowd. In any sport they need to be applied equally and fairly to all.

I also feel that in the case of event coordinator's/staff/judge's/club leader's etc. that they should be holding themselves to a higher standard of sportsmanship and setting a good example.

As far as the title goes, I trust that those in charge will make sure everything is taken care of as fairly as possible.

The judge did not ignore the situation, the judge's protest was ignored.

I vote yes.

Another yes vote. In any competitive event, be it rc crawling, 1:1 racing or anything else, it falls to the competitors to be aware of the rules and make sure that they fall within them. "I didn't know" or "I didn't notice" or "I didn't understand what that rule meant" should never be accepted as an excuse.

The official(s) who ignored such a protest should be dealt with as a breakdown of protocol, responsibility and dereliction of duty.

I go through great effort to make sure my rigs are all within spec.
Hell I even make sure to leave a little room for error in case of varying tape/spec sticks.
I was one of the biggest against the Super WB being changed but guess what the rule was made and now my truck fits withing the given WB.
Rules are rules if you like them or not .

i vote yes, other wise all the hard work officers put into making the rules are for no apparent reasons what so ever. The honorable thing for the "driver" to do would be give up the win and kick butt next year.

The rules committee is looking into this matter, we will let you all know what the outcome is in the next few days.

I am closing this thread at this time so the rules committee can do work.

If you feel strongly in this matter I would suggest you let your rules committee member know.

Thanks for your understanding.
