Another Great comp, Just want to say thanks to all that came out and showed there support for NCVRCC, this was our 8th comp in since we started our club in July and let me tell you it has been a lot of fun, hope to see you all up at Bald Rock for our first comp of 2010 Here is a few pics I took at yesterdays comp. Great comp guys! Thanks to all! If I wouldn't have tried the bonus on course one, stepped on a gate, rolled down and hit two gates and my foot (40ed out) I'd of had a decent day.   Congrts to Lenny! and I hope about everyone doesn't feel too bad about getting beat by a girl! Great job Candice!

There are at least 4 people that are on that list that were not there when I left at 12:30? I guarantee they are not in that picture either. Tech at 9:00 then drivers meeting?

That was prearranged. They did the Prison Hill comp in the morning and drove down for this one.  We call it dedication! Drivers doing work! |

Yes,some drivers came in later in the day. I believe that they'd set that up ahead of time with the guys running the comp.We were there till dark,finishing everybody up. Andy and crew,that was another fun comp,thanks for putting it on,had a blast.Also thanks for trying out rotating the judges,with a little tweaking I think that will work out well.See you guys next time. |

I don't know of too many other areas in the country that have this r/c crawlin' blessing. As a matter of fact, I know some of you dedicated drivers comped Sunday at the NorCal comp. I personally like having soooo many comps to attend! I could think of a lot worse, there's a great driver I know that lives in an area where they can't have winter comps, that would suck! I think the problem that some people have is that If a comp starts at 8 or 10 then thats when you need to be there. Its not fair to the other people that show up on time for the comp. I for one think if your not on time for tech then to bad thanks for coming have a safe drive home. But thats also cuz of my 1to1 crawling if your late dont pull it off the trailer my $.02. Also if people knew this before they might have gone to the comp in Nevada and driven down when it was over or other way around. I dont speak up much but this for one bothers me. If a comp starts at 9 be there at 9 or dont show up. Clubs need to start speeking up. If you have a problem with this you know how to get a hold of me. Thanks Andy and the guys for a great comp. Ill be at the next. |
