azvader, tables and chairs would probably be a good idea. If you could bring them that would be great. I'll be bringing my spec class truck as well. I spoke with Jay and he is coming. I'll try to remember and give Ron a call. Morrison, let me know if you need a tq3. |

Ok, here is the latest info. I will be getting VIP passes and handing them out. So to get in free you have to be there between 9am and 9:30am. We will have someone near the gates to hand out the passes. If you can't find anyone from PARC, ask the people at the gate for anyone running the r/c event. I foresee the biggest problem this weekend is going to be getting you guys in free without any problems. We will try to have someone at the gates as much as possible. To help with this, anyone attending PM me your full name and I will compile a list for the event organizers. This way if no one from PARC is at the gate, you can still get in. Grover and I are going to check out the spot tonight and may have more info later. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS SUNDAY · 9 A.M Gates Open · 9 A.M Registration For Competitors Starts · 9:30 A.M Judging Starts For The Most Capable 4X4 · 10 A.M Open Track And Exhibition Runs · 11 A.M The Average Joe 4 4x4 Challenge Begins · 6 P.M Exhibitors Secure Booths · 6:30 P.M Gates Close (when competition ends) Last edited by kevinlongisland; 02-18-2006 at 07:30 PM. |

I drove on the rocks today that our comp will be on. Very slick. They had dirt and dust all over them. I had asked the organizers if they could use their water truck and spray the rocks down. Hopefully that will help. If anyone can bring a broom or brush with them to further clean the rocks that will be great. Giant tracs where horrible, weighted moabs will probably work better. The turnout today was VERY low. Hopefully there will be more people there tomorrow and Sunday. I spoke with Big Rich from WEROCK and it sounds like we are a definite go for the Globe event. Also, each competitor plus one family member will receive free VIP passes to get in at the Average Joe event this weekend. It looks like they are starting the 1:1 trucks at 12pm now to give people more time to show up. |

The turnout at the 4x4 challenge was much better today and there should be some fun stuff to see there tomorrow. The comp will now start at 9:30am to give you west valley guys a little more time to get out there. Also, these rocks are very slippery and we have dumbed down the stages some. Anything that anyone can bring to clean off the rocks will be great. They are dusty and dirty. Brushes and maybe some water will help us clean the rocks down and hopefully increase traction. See you guys in the morning. It also looks like we are set to do both WEROCK and UROC events here locally. Last edited by kevinlongisland; 02-18-2006 at 07:32 PM. |

I have a blast today !!!! I've never seen a REAL 1:1 crawler in person before, most impressive. I can't believe the similarities between our RC crawlers and the full size counterparts. Tony got us started Kev getting twisted RICH !!! My turn Chad crawling while Kev schools the 2.2s GO Diego !!!! |

The 2.2s had an easier time with the rocks supplied but it wasn't easy. Chad's chassis-less TLT Brian showing the rocks who's boss Tyler bustin a move Tony finishing up Kev, Rich, or lil Rich, Sticky did some crawling !!! |

| I had a great time today as well. I really need to work on my patience a bit more though now... ...(hence my crappy scores). It was awesome to meet Big and 'Lil Rich and put a face to the names. Both of which are stand-up guys, very approachable. I'll get what little pics I have uploaded shortly. -WRM Last edited by WRMorrison; 02-19-2006 at 07:51 PM. |

I had a great day also. Big and lil Rich from WEROCK spent a great deal of time hanging out with us today and we where glad to have them. The comp stages turned out to be more fun than I thought they would be considering the terrain. Thanks to everyone that came out.
