|  ETRC Season Opener ETRC Season Opener At the beautiful and scenic OCOEE River. Date: October 30 Course building: 8:30 am Tech and courses open: 9:30 am We will run USRCCA rules found here Directions from I-75 Exit 20 (Cleveland Bypass) drive away from the Fireworks Store toward Cleveland Turn right on US64 toward Ocoee No Turns. You will eventually come to Parksville Lake. Keep going. It turns into the Ocoee River. Stay on 64 until you see the Whitewater Center on the Right. Pull in at the visitors center, drive behind it and down the parking lot. Look for the guys playing with the little yellow balls. 2.2 Class ...3 courses and final. 7 gates per course, 5 minute time limit, no 20 pt. bypass. Other classes will be run based on number of participants. At least 3 drivers make a class...So bring what you have and if there are enough of them... we run them. All the usual ETRC policies apply... We have a $5 entry fee and usually have a raffle giveaway. Everyone added so far Directions added to first post along with link to rules. Depending on how things go, we could run (4) courses and a final. If everyone is game... maybe we could set courses on the opposite side of the river from what we usually run. There are great course options there! We will see... There is some electricity at the pavillion but if you have the ability, come equipped to charge off your car battery. If you cant, you can use mine Rain or shine. Addition to the first post... As always during our season, there is a $5 flat fee to cover supplies and raffle prizes etc... It doesn't matter how many classes you run... it's only 5 bucks for the day. |
