|  Colorado Winter Series Comp #6 3/13/11 Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! And if anyone has not figured it out yet, this months comp will be at....(drumroll)..... Red Rocks             The details: Registration and tech 8am, comp starts at 8:30. Parking lot to Red Rocks Elementary school will be open! Rules http://www.mediafire.com/?sn78ncjyzrzn8m4 -Event fees are $5.00 per class, per event. Payout will be: 1st place=50% 2nd place=30% 3rd place=20% All course will be 4 to 5 minutes with 10+/- gates. Drivers will need be ready for their course. Here are the rest of the guidelines for the Winter Series: 2o1o-2o11 Colorado Winter Series Specifics Location: Red Rocks Elementary Take C470 to Morrison Road Head West into the foot hills PAY ATTENTION TO THE SPEED LIMIT! Just past Morrison (about 1 mile from C470) you will take a right at the Red Rocks Entrance #3 Park in the Dirt lot on your right The rock formations are in front of you (to the east) Bring Good shoes! You have to hike up a small hill to get to the rocks. EDIT: Right before entrance 3 the parking lot to RR Elementary school will be open for us to use. Sportsman: -Will start at 10:00am Tech and sign in will be at 9:30 am -If you are late you will not be allowed to compete so please be on time. -If the sportsman drivers wish to pay $5.00 for a pot that is fine, you don't have to pay though. If you don't pay in you will not be eliglbe to win the money at the end though. -Sportsman courses will be set up separate from the 2.2 pro courses. -There will be a limit of the first 30 drivers for this class, once the cap is reached no more drivers will be allowed. -Drivers not running in the 2.2 pro class will have first dibs. -By 10am if the class is not full yet 2.2 pro drivers will be allowed to sign up. -Once again be on time! If there are any questions or I missed something let me know.  For this event we will need volunteers for judges, so if you can judge please post up. Also the 2.2 class is capped at 50 drivers, once we get that many 2.2's the class is full and you are SOL. So I suggest coming early. Also anyone on the property for this event must sign in with Patrick or myself and sign the event location waiver. HELL YA!! always kick butt times at red rocks. hopefully ill have my new motors for my berg. had it out practicing today and the front was stalling like crazy. time for 35t holmes motors ooh ya ill judge 2.2 as well. be ready for some crazy lines  |

I have only judged once but passed the test on USRCC site. I'll definitely be there but am more comfortable as a backup. Anything I can do to help. I run 2.2 sporty class.

Alright I just received word we will have access to the parking lot for this Sunday. If anyone wants to know if this event will be on the east side or the west side well... They will have to try and see were Patrick and I are sunday morning. |
