|  2011 Arkansas State Championship June 18th, 2011 June 18th, 2011 Degray Lake, Degray, AR http://maps.google.com/maps?q=34.220...,0.111494&z=14 course building 9:00am meeting/start 10:00am 6 total courses (3 by each club) course time and number of gates TBD This is our yearly shootout for Nats. Each club will get to build 3 courses and we will run them together. We will run regular rules...40 pt outs,( bypass will be decided the day of by both clubs in the meeting) The 1st and 2nd place finishers of this comp will each get a 2.2 invite to the 2011 USRCCA Nationals located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Everyone is invited to drive, but there is a bonus for the top 5 from each club for their hard work . Each of the top 5 will get a negative point bonus depending on their club placement going into the comp. am idea from my sportbike racing days.. we'd run the track the intended direction 1 time and the next time we'd come back to race we'd run it backwards.. like having 2 tracks on the same course. i thought it would apply here to save us some time in building courses.  |

no not in a hurry...just trying to make best use of everyones time and our crawling space. not everyone wants to spend all day comping...i got scalers and jet boats that want to run too! take it or leave it..just an idea. |

I ended up making top 5 for both clubs this year. So, I would be awarded the following Bonus points for the Arkansas State Championship. NWARC -5 (1st in series) Ark/La/Miss -3 (3rd in series) I was in the top 5 for both last year. Last year y'all decided, pre-comp, I take the highest ranking club points and then I get a general (-1) for the second club not the full points, (-3) for 3rd in the second club. For example, this year (-5 NWARC) and then I get a (-1) for Ark/La/Miss (instead of -3). for a total of (-6) bonus points. Cuss and discuss. Last year, I went with what y'all decided before the comp. If it were me, I would vote to give anyone all the points they earned for both series. But that is my opinion. I will go with whatever the group decides. ... The rules don't say anything about it, so it falls down to personal preference. Shane you have worked hard so I think you should get all of the points. I wasn't sure to begin with because I have seen other clubs not allow drivers to get both series points and I was curious to know why (I still haven't found a straight answer). After talking with a few rules committee members I have made up my mind. Maybe the other club heads just don't want to get butt-hurt about a driver racking up bonus points for working hard. Now we just have to get Ricky's approval, but I'm sure that won't be too hard too get. I think he likes us and he is a nice man. |

im for letting shane have the points..he did the time to go to all the comps,earned points at them,he should be able to use them. good job buddy!! WOO-WOOOO!! i stayed in bed almost all day yesterday recouping from saturday.. i think i actually stopped sweating at onepoint saturday after the lunch break..mmmm..not good.. |
